Game LQA & Testing

Game QA & LQA

Catch linguistic bugs, UI issues, and translation errors before they reach your players. I make sure your localized game feels natural, polished, and ready for any market.

Game Localization Tester

When we think of video game localization, we usually picture the translation process—turning English into Spanish, French, Japanese, or any other language. But translation is only part of the journey. To deliver a truly localized experience, one crucial step can’t be skipped: Quality Assurance.
Check out below what's my workflow when dealing with QA & LQA projects.

Game LQA Services

I provide in-context linguistic QA to ensure your game’s translation sounds natural, fits the UI, and respects cultural nuances. From grammar and style to truncations and terminology, I help you deliver a flawless experience in every language—especially Spanish.

My Game Localization
QA Workflow

  • Pre-Launch Preparation

We review the localized files, establish testing priorities, and set up the tools needed to start QA efficiently. The goal: identify potential red flags before testing even begins.

  • In-Game Testing

Native linguists test the localized build in context, playing through menus, cutscenes, and gameplay to catch bugs, awkward phrasing, UI issues, or broken strings.

  • Bug Reporting & Categorization

Each issue is logged with context, screenshots, and priority tags. From minor typos to critical UI breakage, every bug is documented clearly for your dev team.

  • Fix Verification & Final QA Pass

After fixes are implemented, we re-test to ensure bugs are resolved and no new issues appeared. The result: a polished, immersive localized experience.

FAQ (Most common questions)

What’s the difference between QA and LQA?

QA focuses on technical issues (bugs, crashes, UI problems), while LQA is about checking the quality of the translation in context—grammar, style, consistency, and naturalness.

What platforms do you support?

I work across PC, console, and mobile platforms. Just send me the build, emulator, or access credentials, and I’ll adapt to your setup.

Can you handle both English-to-Spanish LQA and overall QA reporting?

Yes. I specialize in Spanish (European and LATAM) but can also provide full QA reports with clear issue logs, screenshots, and suggestions.

How do you report bugs or language issues?

I use your preferred tools—Jira, Google Sheets, internal bug trackers—or I can provide a custom bug report template with IDs, descriptions, steps to reproduce, and severity levels.

Can you test under NDA?

Absolutely. I take confidentiality and data security very seriously and can sign any NDA you provide.
